About Us

Dr. Ikechukwu “Ike” Igbo is the owner of Flux Rehabilitation Consultants. He graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. He continued his education at NOVA Southeastern University where he received his Masters degree (2009) and later his Clinical Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (2016).

Ike is a licensed occupational therapist who is trained as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. He has performed individual workstation ergonomic assessments and full workplace contextual analysis for international organizations. He also utilizes his ergonomics background in designing custom functional furniture with his other company, Contour Functional Art. 

Ike utilizes the holistic P-E-O model, which emphasizes that occupational performance is shaped by the interaction between a person, environment, and occupation. He has extensive experience working in various settings including: acute, sub-acute, and day habilitation settings, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, in home health, and Telehealth.

His areas of clinical expertise and interests include contextual analysis, assistive technology, seating and positioning, and the promotion of occupational justice for persons with disabilities globally.

Ike has a reputation of being an empathetic, efficient, insightful, and calm professional, who takes his time to understand what issues hinder his client’s occupational performance and attentively finds client centered solutions to resolve those issues.
